Bianchi D2 Zurigo

The beautiful classically styled Bianchi Zurigo is part of Bianchi's D2 special products range, which is designed to meet the needs of specialist disciplines such as cyclo cross, time trials and track racing. The Zurigo is a competition ready cross bike, but it also comes equipped with mudguard and rack bosses, making it a truly versatile bike that is ideal for winter training, light touring and commuting use when fitted with a pair of road tyres.

The Zurigo's frame is constructed from hydroformed 7005 series double butted tubes that have been profiled to assist with shock absorbtion over rough ground. The top tube has been flattened on the underside to help with shouldering the bike during race situations over obstacles etc. The Bianchi FC7 carbon 1 1/8" cyclocross fork also helps soften the ride, but is extremely strong and stable over rutted courses. The bottom bracket area and chain stays are stiffened for optimal power transfer, which makes the Zurigo a very responsive bike on tarmac as well as off road.

Handling is excellent, providing both stability for cyclocross racing and a predictable "planted" feel when out on the road - it really does feel equally at home both on and off road.

All new bike purchases include a free professional fitting session, but if you are unable to visit the store for any reason we will happily advise on sizing over the phone or via email.

Test rides are available on most road bikes following a fitting session - but please call or email to confirm availability of model/size as we can't carry every combination!

And if you would like us to deliver your item to you, rather than taking it away in person, we are very happy to do so at no cost to mainland UK (excludes Highlands and Islands).
