A supremely versatile bike, the all-new, completely redesigned CAADX cyclocross bikes demonstrate their racing heritage with CAAD10 and SuperX inspired tube shapes, SAVE stays and race-bred geometry while rack and mudguard mounts and a slightly more upright position expand its usability.

Whether jumping into the joyfull madness of cyclocross or simply looking for a supremely versatile bike for winter training, commuting or adventuring, the Cannondale CAADX cyclocross bike is an ideal perfect choice.

Featuring ample mud clearance and high levels of off road stability the CAADX is fast and fun when ridden off road - but with a full set of mudguard eyelets and excellent power transfer it is also equally at home as a lively winter training bike, lightweight tourer or all round do-it-all bike.

The CAADX has a slightly taller head tube and slightly slacker head tube angle than a race-only rig, which provides a more upright position and super stable handling.

SMOOTH WELDS - A true smooth weld, rather than the sand, putty, and paint "smooth welds" of other brands. Cannondale's trademark double-pass smooth weld technology eliminates the stress-risers and weak points found on traditionally-welded frames, enabling them to build lighter, stronger frames.

SAVE STAYS - The flattened shape and refined butting of the stays offer significant vertical compliance for comfort and control over rough surfaces, while remaining laterally rigid for solid power transfer and confident handling.

ASYMMETRIC CHAIN STAYS - Just like on Cannondale's premium race bikes, they oversize and reshape the driveside chain stay to better handle the loads from the drivetrain, while keeping the non-drive stay svelte for weight savings.

EXTERNALLY-MACHINED HEAD TUBE - A technique Cannondale has used for years, excess material is precisely machined out of the low stress areas of the head tube, saving significant weight with no loss of strength.

TAPER-BUTTED TUBES - Like the legendary CAAD frames of the past, the CAADX features 6061 aluminium which has been taper-butted and heat-treated to a T6 hardness. The smooth transitions provided by taper-butting eliminate the internal stress risers of traditionally-butted frames, again allowing a lighter, stronger frame.
