Look 586 UD

The 2012 Look 586 UD is a state of the art frameset in every sense of the word.  It simply packs innovation and new technology into a stunningly attractive package.  The smooth sweeping lines of its Look proprietary monocoque construction give the 586 an aggressive and stylish appearance, while the new standard 27.2mm non-integrated seatpost adds to its versatility and comfort.

The frame is teamed up with the Look HSC6 fork (just 350g), which features the Look patented Head Fit 2 headset system that ensures perfect alignment and adjustment of the headset and stem, as well saving 40 grams in weight. 

The 586 rides superbly in all respects - it makes a sharp racing or triathlon machine, but its silky smooth and efficient nature makes it the perfect cyclosportive bike. A pioneer in the technology of single-shell carbon frames, Look's engineers have designed a frame that is both aerodynamic and extremely lightweight without endangering the frame's overall rigidity or stability.

New for 2012 is a beautiful UD (unidirectional) bare carbon matt finish, with contrasting brilliant white decals - paired up with matching wheels the 586 UD is simply stunning.

Back in 2010 Look introduced the concept of authorised Test Centres to ensure that their frames will only be available from dealers with proper knowledge of such an advanced product. It is also a condition of the Look warranty that customers must visit an authorised dealer for a face to face consultation at some point before the bike/frame is handed over (either prior to ordering or on collection), to make sure that the correct product has been supplied, and that it is properly set up for the rider. We are of course more than happy to offer advice over the telephone or via email, but you will need to visit us before completing your Look purchase - all frameset and bike purchases from Epic Cycles include a free professional fitting session, during which we can discuss alternative specifications and fine tune component sizes so that the bike is a perfect fit for both your body geometry and riding preferences.

All Look cycles come to us as framesets, which can then either be built up into complete bikes in our workshop using components of your choice or supplied as framesets on their own - listed below are just sample builds using the Look 586 frameset.
