Welcome to Epic MTB

Welcome to Epic MTB, the new sister site of Epic Cycles, the UK’s leading road bike specialists.

Since our move to Ludlow, which is bang on the doorstep of some of the region’s best trail riding, we have been working to develop a distinctive range of market-leading MTBs from top-level brands that we can supply quickly to our customers, and which represent best-in-class machines that cover all tastes, budgets and trail types.

We have also expanded our staff numbers and carried out training with bike manufacturers in order to ensure that our MTB specialists are up to date with development in all of the latest MTB technologies, ready for the launch of Epic MTB.

While we will hold stock in our on-site warehouse of some of the most popular sizes in certain key MTB models, our showroom and in-house demo fleet (see below) will remain 100% dedicated to road bikes. Our MTB range is far too large for us to keep on hand in Ludlow, so most of our MTBs will be held for us by our suppliers, ready for despatch to us as required.

You are welcome to visit our Ludlow store to discuss your MTB requirements face-to-face with our MTB specialists, who will of course be able to show you any of the key models we hold in our warehouse – alternatively please email us or call our sales office on 01584 879245 and we will talk with you at length about your MTB needs – we have an enviable reputation for providing in-depth and pressure-free advice on the road side, and we aim to provide just the same for MTBs!

Several of our staff are hugely experienced and enthusiastic off road riders, covering disciplines ranging from leisure riding through cross country racing to big country marathons and downhill racing; so as well as providing you with technical information they will be able to talk to you about how our bikes actually ride out on the trail.

We Offer More

Bike demos - we have built very close relationships over the past 5 years with our supplier, so have rapid access to their test fleet for customers looking at higher end MTBs (they only run demo bikes for the higher level or new models).

We have plenty of parking at our shop, and the forests just a couple of minutes away by bike are perfect for test rides - so is you are considering a carbon MTB from the likes of Scott or Cannondale please contact us to arrange a demo ride.

We are looking to host some demo days with our suppliers in the Mortimer Forest, so please keep an eye on our Facebook page for announcements.

Bike set-up - all of our new MTBs include a free set-up session on collection, but if you are unable to visit the store for any reason we will happily advise on basic sizing and bike set-up over the phone or via email.

FREE UK mainland delivery* on all bikes and anything else purchased at same time (*UK Mainland excludes Highlands and Islands - please contact us for delivery charges to these areas).

International delivery is now available at competitive rates to all countries - charges to international destinations vary according to the country we are shipping to and the nature, size and weight of the item we are sending, so please contact us for a firm delivery quote and timescales.
