Welcome to Epic Cycles

The UK's leading dedicated road bike store, with over 12,500sq ft devoted entirely to road bikes and their relatives (if you are looking for MTBs, please visit our sister site here).

Ranging from sportive and road racing bikes to commuting and cross bikes, we have a huge choice of models from carefully selected manufacturers to suit all budgets, requirements and levels of experience. While we offer highly competitive prices all year round and an unrivalled selection of road bikes, what really sets us apart is our industry leading customer service and honest low-pressure advice. We also operate a demo fleet of over 100 road bikes, so you can "Try Before You Buy".

A free professional fitting session is included with every bike purchase (this can be quite a lengthy process, as it is not a quick "rule of thumb" exercise, so please check in advance that one of our fitters is free before travelling a long way to see us, especially on a Saturday) - we can of course also provide guidance over the phone or by email, but please be patient if we don't respond immediately as we are exceptionally busy just now.

Spring Challenge 2012 - filling up fast!

The fifth Epic Cycles Spring Challenge takes place on Sunday 11th March 2012 - but starting in Ludlow this time as it makes sense to host it in our new home town!

Epic MTB has arrived!

Epic MTB, the sister site of Epic Cycles, has arrived - since our move to Ludlow, which is bang on the doorstep of some of the region’s best trail riding, we have been working to develop a distinctive range of market-leading MTBs from top level brands that we can supply quickly to our customers, and which represent best-in-class machines that cover all tastes, budgets and trail types. 

It was feedback from our road customers, many of whom also run MTBs, that prompted us to look at whether we could develop the capacity to offer MTBs without compromising our reputation, specialisation and service on the road side. So our physical showroom etc will remain 100% road dedicated (including our demo fleet), while the sales office, website and warehouse sides are expanding a bit to take on the new models. News - we have moved!

We are delighted to have moved to much larger new premises in the lovely medieval town of Ludlow. Our new 12,500ft converted warehouse store has lots more room for additional models and brands, allowing us to keep pace with growing customer demand. It is also more accessible for road and rail networks, while retaining great roads for bike testing, as well as offering increased on-site parking.

We Offer More

Try before you buy on our quiet country roads. We have over 100 test bikes available, covering most models - please call or email to check specific model/size availability. We have plenty of parking and the roads around the shop offer some lovely riding, so are perfect for test rides.

International delivery is now available at competitive rates to all countries - charges to international destinations vary according to the country we are shipping to and the nature, size and weight of the item we are sending, so please contact us for a firm delivery quote and timescales.
